Pilgrims, dry fruits and handicrafts

Jammu is the gateway for pilgrims heading to Katra and Vaishno Devi, so hotels, guest houses, taxi operators and travel agents all depend on being found online before a trip. Raghunath Bazaar and the other old markets sell to locals and visitors alike, and the region is known for dry fruits, Basmati rice, shawls and handicrafts that find buyers well outside Jammu and Kashmir.
