Top 7 Career Counsellors in Delhi NCR (2026)
Seven established counsellors and organisations, what each one offers, and the background we could verify from official and reputable sources.
Finding good career counsellors in Delhi NCR is harder than it should be, because almost anyone can call themselves one.
So we kept this list short. It includes seven counsellors and organisations whose Delhi NCR base, services and background we could check on their official websites or in reputable publications.
We set out to list ten. We stopped at seven rather than pad the list with names we could not verify.
Disclosure: SkillCircle publishes this guide. We run skills training, not independent career counselling, so our own course advisers are not on this list. Nobody here paid to be included, and the order is not a ranking. Details were checked on 19 Oct 2026; confirm services and fees directly before you book.
Why career counselling matters for Delhi NCR students
Delhi students start from a strong position. In the India Skills Report 2026, Delhi ranks fifth among states for youth employability.

Strong averages still leave plenty of students unsure what to pick, and the choices in a big metro are overwhelming. A good counsellor helps you narrow them with evidence rather than guesswork.

How we built this list
- Verifiable base: a Delhi NCR address or base confirmed on an official site or in a reputable publication.
- Named, checkable lead: a founder or lead counsellor whose background we could confirm.
- Public services: services described on their own site or by a reputable source.
- No reviews or testimonials: we did not use star ratings or quotes, which are easy to game.
Several other names we looked at did not publish a verifiable address, credentials or services, so we left them out. If you run a Delhi NCR counselling practice and can share verifiable details, we are happy to review it for a future update.
Once you have a direction, these may help: our list of the top 10 career options after 12th, the step-by-step guide on how to choose a career after 12th, and the best skills to learn after 12th.

Frequently asked questions
Who are some established career counsellors in Delhi NCR?
This list covers Jitin Chawla’s Centre for Career Development, Pervin Malhotra (CARING), Usha Albuquerque (Careers Smart), Mindler, iDreamCareer, Psychowellness Center and the government’s National Career Service. Each was checked against official or reputable sources.
Is there free career counselling in Delhi?
Yes. The National Career Service portal run by the Ministry of Labour and Employment says its services, including career counselling, are free. Its toll-free helpline is 1514. Many schools also have counsellors.
How much does career counselling cost in Delhi NCR?
Fees vary widely and most counsellors do not publish them, so we have not listed prices. Ask for a written fee and a clear list of what is included before you pay.
Should I choose a psychologist or a career counsellor?
For most career decisions, an experienced career counsellor is enough. If stress, anxiety or a learning difficulty is part of the picture, a qualified psychologist can help with both.
Why does this list have seven names and not ten?
We only included counsellors and organisations whose Delhi NCR base, services and background we could verify. We chose to publish fewer names rather than add ones we could not check.
