Data science from a Patiala base

It's easy to assume you have to move to Chandigarh, Mohali or Delhi just to learn data science. You don't. Python, statistics and machine learning are the same wherever you learn them, and having a portfolio ready before you apply makes the move, if you make it, much easier.

We haven't found reliable data science hiring numbers for Patiala, so we're not quoting any. If you'd rather keep working from Punjab, these skills also suit remote roles.

TensorFlow and Keras, convolutional and recurrent networks.

Text cleaning, TF-IDF, embeddings and sentiment classification.

I'm an engineering student at Thapar. Will this repeat what I already study?
Some Python basics may feel familiar. The course is built around applied projects, capstones and interview prep. A counsellor can take you through the module list before you join.
I graduated from Punjabi University in arts or commerce. Can I still do data science?
Yes, if you're comfortable with basic numbers. Statistics and the maths behind each model are taught from the ground up.
Can I join from Rajpura, Nabha or Sangrur?
Yes. Come to Leela Bhawan on class days if the commute works, or join live online with the same syllabus.
Should I pick the Patiala or the Chandigarh centre?
It's the same course. Choose whichever is easier to reach; the Chandigarh centre is at SCO 116-117, Sector 34A.
Data science or data analytics: which should I take?
Analytics (4 months) covers reporting and dashboards. Data science (6 months) adds machine learning. Compare it with our Data Analytics Course in Patiala.
