Why learn data science in Hubballi

Python basics
Jupyter notebooks, how data science differs from analytics, and the idea of regression vs classification.
Cleaning data
Where data comes from, fixing missing values, scaling and normalising.
Regression
Linear, multiple, polynomial and logistic regression, and how to judge a model.
Machine learning
Decision trees, random forest, XGBoost, Naive Bayes, SVM, K-means, K-NN and cross-validation.
Deep learning
Neural networks with TensorFlow and Keras, then CNNs and RNNs.
NLP
Preparing text, TF-IDF, word embeddings and sentiment models.

I live in Dharwad. Should I commute or study online?
Either works. If the daily trip to Vidya Nagar is too much, join the live online batch and come to the centre for counselling or doubt sessions when it suits you.
I'm an engineering student in Hubballi. Can I do this alongside my semester?
Yes. Ask the counsellor for batch timings that fit around your college schedule and exams.
Is this worth it if I plan to move to Bengaluru later?
Yes. The tools and portfolio are the same wherever you apply, so you can use the course to get ready before you move.
I studied BCom or BSc at a Dharwad college. Is the maths too hard?
You need to be comfortable with basic numbers, not an engineering degree. Statistics and the maths behind each model are taught as you go.
