Please read first: YouTube earnings and net worth are estimates reported by media outlets and tracking tools. They are not verified by SkillCircle, are not audited, and often mix ad income with brand deals, live shows and other businesses. Where we found no credible figure we say so. Subscriber counts are from each official channel, as of 17 Oct 2026.

How we picked the richest YouTubers in Mumbai

Mumbai, with Thane and Navi Mumbai around it, is where much of India’s comedy, podcast and gaming scene is made. We started from the usual richest-YouTuber lists and kept only creators who were born in the Mumbai region or are clearly based there, as confirmed by Wikipedia, Forbes India, a national news outlet or the creator’s own words. Where someone was born elsewhere and built their career in Mumbai, we say so.

The order is simple. The first five have a net-worth estimate in a named news outlet and are ranked by that figure. Tanmay Bhat comes next because the only big number attached to him is one he has rejected. The rest follow by YouTube subscriber count, which measures reach, not wealth. For the national picture, see our list of the richest YouTubers in India. Earlier cities in this series: the richest YouTubers in Delhi NCR and the richest YouTubers in Lucknow. Next in the series: the richest YouTubers in Hubli.

Who we left out of this Mumbai list

Some big names are often linked to Mumbai, but we either could not confirm the link or it belongs to another city. Chef Ranveer Brar works in Mumbai but was born and raised in Lucknow, so he appears in our Lucknow list instead. Gaming creator Dynamo Gaming (Aaditya Sawant) was born in Gondia, Maharashtra, per Wikipedia, and we found no reliable source for a Mumbai base. TV comedians and film stars who also run YouTube channels were left out because YouTube is not their main work. If you have a solid source for anyone we missed, we will review it.

What new creators can learn from these channels

The ten channels look different, but a pattern shows up. Most picked one format, such as sketches, long interviews, live streams or explainers, and stuck with it for years before it paid off. Nearly all of them earn well beyond YouTube ads, through live shows, brand work, films, podcasts, esports teams, agencies or clothing lines. And several of the biggest stories here also show how quickly a single clip can create legal and brand trouble.

If you want to build or grow a channel, marketing skills help with titles, search, analytics and audience building. Our online digital marketing course covers SEO, social media and analytics, and learners in the city can look at the digital marketing course in Navi Mumbai at our Vashi centre. If you prefer numbers, there are also the data analytics, data science and AI course pages for Navi Mumbai, and you can see every location on our centres page.
